A contemporary family home on a 607m2 block of land in the Brisbane inner city suburb of Windsor. The house has been designed to complement and enrich the “Character Housing” area in which it is located. The architecture explores the Queensland vernacular with its use of pitched roofs, counterpoised lightweight and masonry elements and a blurring of indoor and outdoor spaces to make the most of prevailing breezes and city views.
